Deerfield-Windsor School provided me an aspiration before I had one of my own. With DWS bestowing an identity upon me, I was a Knight before I was my true self. I remain a DWS Knight.

This series is my attempt to honor that gift and name the obligation it demands in return. W.T. Henry set the standard. The Knight Line carries it. The seal commands it. Five parts. Three Latin words. One obligation that has no expiration date and no audience requirement.

The school conferred first. I fortified virtue within second.
